Activity 2 - Weather and Bernoulli Principle

Describe some common weather occurences in relation to the gas laws and characteristics we have been exploring?
- Humid air is much less dense than dry air. If it is too hot it is very dense and they can cancel flights at the airport because the planes fly better when its cool air because it's less dense. When it gets really hot during the summer months in places like Florida or New Orleans, it will rain pretty much like clockwork every afternoon.

What is the Bernoulli Principle, provide an example or application of this?
-"In fluid dynamics, Bernoulli's principle states that for an inviscid flow, an increase in the speed of the fluid occurs simultaneously with a decrease in pressure or a decrease in the fluid's potential energy." (wiki) An example of the Bernouilli Principle would be a plane or helicopter flying. Because of the speed and pressure beneath the wings the Bernouilli Principle allows the planes to fly.
